SARA & ALBERTO/ BRADFIELD PARK, MILSONS POINT / THE DECK, LUNA PARK/ 10 MARCH 2019
If there was one word I’d use to describe Sara and Alberto it’d be fun! These two vivacious Italians were so much fun to work with, full of energy, vibrance and not to mention, awesome-ly lovely. Their guests consisted of very close friends, whom they consider family here in Australia and using Sydney’s amazing city skyline, Opera House and the Harbour Bridge as their backdrop.
“We met in Milan through friends of friends. We were both going to the same rock/metal club. After meeting a couple of times I was expecting him to approach me, but he was a bit shy, and it took a year and a half for him to ask for my number! In 2007 we started our relationship, believing it was nothing serious, two months later we moved in together and twelve years later we’re still together, so something went well. Alberto proposed in Ryokan, Japan. I had to find the ring in the hotel room, like a treasure hunt, (we always hide our presents), and when I found it, under a Kotatsu (table), he proposed in the most lovely and traditional way, of course I said yes!” - Sara the Bride.
